ORIGINAL TO BA/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}) EFC. FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} (At Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence) C. to - DJ. WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.B. Mr. North STAMP: RECEIVED CLOCKS APR 21 1927 R3/M15.4.27. REC'D DURING EASTER, AND DESPATCHED 20.4.27. X8530 Again, Messrs North & Co. promised at WW. a suitable clock for our cluster board. My feeling is that we do not want a face winder, but the choice is between a back winder, or a side winder: the latter seems to me the one to go for. I could not agree to a face and glass that was not of simple circular form. Again include a copy of this memo. to Mr. North. We have been over a year getting a move on this. Again we must try somewhere else if there is not a move in 4 weeks time: Waltham should make something good. Find out every clock that is available in England, and abroad. I fear the English are still not working, and if so, we must go further. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
