Will you please let me have as soon as possible some particulars shewing the difference of output there may be between various standard motor-car dynamos at different road speeds on top gear.

You doubtless have these figures, resulting from tests you have made on practically every well-known machine.

In Mr. Sidney's case, the fact remains that he asserts he never did have any trouble in connection with over-charging and blackening of his lamps with his many Silver Ghosts, and he is at a loss to know why he should have this trouble now, unless it is due to the output of the present dynamo at speeds under 30 m.p.h. being greater than that of the machines we used to supply.

Also, do you think that the mechanical assembly of the batteries used by us in these days, by reason of the higher resistance of the separators &c., may account for these higher voltages on the battery than were found previously?
