| 264a FILE. 7.7.36. Visit to Park Wards. B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} chassis B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} chassis was delivered to Park Wards on Friday afternoon 3.7.36., delivery is promised for Wednesday the 15th, time to be obtained later. All the body alterations and modification have been carried out including the fitting of stronger foot wells and rear seat cross member, a scuttle ventilation has also been fitted. Work was started immediately the chassis arrived. Bentley steel body. Work is progressing well, the shell is not yet together but most of pieces are made including the body bottom sides. P.W. will be ready for the chassis in 3 to 4 weeks time. 38-EX Steel Body Ph.III. The steel framework is going together well on the jig, and progress appears good, no date mentioned. 4 1/4 litre Bentley. No information could be obtained from P.W. or Mr. Archer, re the difficulty in braking and avoiding the steering column. No change other than the felt on the dashboard has been made. HB{C. E.
