Dear Sirs,

P.R. SPORTS SALOON. 26EX.
SIR HENRY ROYCE.

We are now able to give you the finishing instructions for the above car.
The chassis will be delivered to you not later than July 1st. and we hope that you will be able to let us have delivery of the car for certain by July 19th.
COLOUR.
Panels below chromium bead at waistline, top of bonnet and scuttle, and trunk and wheels to be finished with Pearl Essence Fish Silver applied on a blue ground the same as the wings.
Mr Honeyman has a sample of this special cellulose and can tell you where to obtain it. We suggest the blue ground as we wish the whole car to have a hue like the glow of chromium plating and we believe that blue is the required ground to produce the effect.
The waist moulding and the pillars above are to be blue of a sky hue, but having a tinge of the chromium colour.
Since it is essential that we get these colours settled up as soon as possible we suggest that you make a sample as per the sketch below and send half to me and the other to Mr.Honeyman. Enclosed herewith is a tracing on which the colour distribution is indicated.
EXTERNAL FITTINGS.
All the external fittings to be either chromium plated or of stainless steel. The bead arround the waist line andalong the cant rail is to correspond. The mudlip of the wings is to be of stainless steel or chromium plated.
TRIMMING.
The seats are to be upholstered in leather, of a special kind of which Mr.Honeyman will give you patterns. The colour is to be blue. We leave you to suggest a suitable headlining and carpet. The lining should be as light as possible.
The interior of the car has to have little or no woodwork exposed. See sketch.
OUTSIDE HANDLES.
Chromium finish to design shewn in sketch.
INTERIOR FITTINGS.
To be of Satin Silver finish. Interior door handles to act
