26-EX.

Referring to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}5/M19.6.30.

We have instructed the dull finished radiator shutters asked for on this chassis.

With reference to the set of fittings asked for to attach the rear trunk to the chassis, we have only one scheme (N.Sch.2819) which was for 23-EX. instructed from V.W. We have made two extra sets of a different type for 18-EX. and 24-EX. to replace those supplied by the trunk makers which we considered were not a good enough job.

If you wish us to make the fittings will you please let us know which type are required. These fittings are usually supplied with the trunk.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has replied to the first paragraph in a separate memo; the chassis should be available for the coach-builders on the 13th. July.
