X8140 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LGS.1.25. EAC. THROTTLE GOVERNOR. Attached is a report from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} in connection with the EAC. Throttle Governor. We know that the Sales Dept. will make critical comparisons between the 40/50 HP. governor and the EAC. when they receive the cars. The Governor on the 40/50 HP. is frequently used by customers for changing gear at fairly high speeds. Before we issue a general report on the governor, we should very much like for you to criticse the report attached and say whether we are getting the results you anticipated and what modifications might be made.
