Rolls Royce Ltd., Experimental Dept., DERBY Dear Sirs, Attention of Mr. C.T.Salt We have received a letter from your Buying Dept. requesting delivery of 36 Pistons RE.1821 - 2.5" diam., and have informed them that we are awaiting Mr. Salt's approval of a Casting Drawing sent him on 19th November, before proceeding. We have endeavoured to contact Mr. Salt by phone without success. Upon receipt of Mr. Salt's instructions to proceed, we will lose no time, but under present day conditions estimate the production of full Foundry equipment and Pistons will take 7/8 weeks.
