Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY

Dear Sirs,
Re Your Order No. 36316

We are in receipt of your letter of the 13th instant, requesting a delivery promise of Pistons RE.1821.

We regret that the production of these Pistons is suspended pending Mr. C.T.Salt's approval of a Casting Drawing sent him on 19th November.

We have endeavoured to get in touch with Mr. Salt by phone but without success.

Under present day conditions we estimate the production of full Foundry equipment and Pistons will take 7/8 weeks, after receipt of instructions to proceed.

Yours faithfully,

FOR THE LIGHT PRODUCTION CO. LTD.

W. P. Riccy

Research Department.
