Re: CHASSIS 3.AZ.2I4 - Princess Torre e Tasso

We think the following will be of interest to You.

Before the above car was delivered to the owner we in view of the fact that she resides near Lake Como in Italyt took the precaution to change the radiator for one which we presume was of the latest type. The radiator ( E.87239) was dispatched to us on the 6th. of March in case n°. I38I3 .

During a conversation which we have had with the English driver of the Princess , he mentioned that during a recent run from Italy to France he had to make a climb of about 8 to IO kilometres. When he was about half way up he noticed that the thermometer reading was at IOO°, he said that he stopped for a quarter of an hour as a matter of precaution, although there was no escape of steam.

He then continued the climb and every thing was OK.

He mentioned that it was a warm day, but could not be considered as being hot.

There was a side wind blowing.

Before he started the climb the thermometer reading was a steady 80°. At no time was there a shortage of petrol supply and no water was lost on the full trip. He said the running of the XXX car was perfect.
