Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mcr2/L22514. Re Chassis 58NA.{Mr Nadin} W/S 22-5-14. C. We hope that the letter from Mr Platford's Dept. last night straightened out the question of obtaining triptique and passes etc.. I saw the R.A.C. man in Loughborough myself and he promised to forward to the Head Office of the R.A.C. last night the papers for the pass and Warwick's driving license, and he handed me to send the particulars for the triptique after I had obtained some extra particulars and filled them in. I have asked Mr DeLooze to forward to you by the 10 oclock bag this morning a cheque for £73 - 4 - 0, to be handed over to the R.A.C. for triptique. The local R.A.C man said there had been some new regulations and he seemed uncertain as to what the amount should be. As far as I could tell myself from the triptique paper, it would appear that you can obtain a "carnet de passage en douane", which can be made out for any number of L677 (handwritten in margin) | ||
