Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mcr2/L22514. -2- foreign countries on depositing the Customs fee for that country which has the highest rate, the only exception being Germany which requires a separate triptique. This is what the triptique form stated, but the local R.A.C. man only filled up one form and requested us to forward the amount stated above, and on the form in question he did not answer the question whether triptique or "carnet etc." is required. The R.A.C. man says there will be no difficulty over this point and I hope he is right, but I thought it better to put you in possession of all the facts in case of any question being raised. With reference to the question of the International passes for Messrs Percy and Jarrott, the local R.A.C. man is very insistent on the point that the drivers pass and the car's pass are really two separate things, and they are only joined together for the convenience of a man who is taking a car for a trip on the Continent, knowing that he and the car | ||
