XS005 Expl: Dept: HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rnl/LG. 6th. Nov. 1928. Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. XS494 Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mt. Jones. With reference to our conversation of last week. Herewith we send you details of the rubber cylinder joint which you require. When cold there is .001 clearance between the cyl. and liner and the aluminium cyl. block. Attached to the drg. are some notes on why we consider the expansion of the rubber cannot do much damage. With reference to the rubber blocks for the engine mountings, we have not yet received the harder blocks with smaller free length which you promised us. We should be obliged if you could let us have those as soon as possible. Details attached. Yours faithfully, | ||
