THE R.L. CUTOUT Patent No. 416036 is an electric switch operated by oil pressure and inserted in the ignition circuit of the car. It takes the place of an ignition warning light and an oil gauge but is more efficient than both of these as its operation is automatic and cannot be ignored by the driver. It does not affect the starting or running in any way. It is guaranteed for a YEAR but will last indefinitely (many owners transfer their R.L. Cutouts from one car to another). Every R.L. Cutout is tested to withstand five times the oil pressure it will ever have to carry. IT WARNS THE DRIVER BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
