-2- P.III. (12) We are to issue a Depot Sheet for the Propeller Shaft Damper to cure the 23 mile an hour drive groan. (13) A Hardy Spicer Propeller Shaft should be fitted to 39-AX. (14) Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} wishes us to standardise the P.III spare petrol pump as soon as the Design Dept. are satisfied with it. (15) If we standardise the Wraith Wheel movement within a month it can be brought on at the first chassis in 'D' Series. (16) Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} is sending a pair of Delco horns for Trial on 35-AX. (17) Memo to GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} to discover what he means by saying that all P.III Shock Absorbers will give trouble. We want also to ask him whether he is going to issue a memo re Bentley complaints on the lines of the 25/30 one just received. (18) Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} wants to know whether chains can be fitted to any of our American cars, or whether they foul the steering connections. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} wants to see a type of chain suitable for P.III front wheels. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} will look into the matter of moving the jack pads on the rear of the Bentley so that chains can be fitted. (19) A report is required on the position of the new P.III Headlamps, also the new foot switch. (20) Standardisation sheet required for the radiator diagonal stays. 25/30. (1) Standardisation sheet required for larger oil pump and pressure oil filter. (2) The horns should not be wired through the ammeter. (3) What recommendations have we for curing sticking throttles? WRAITH. (1) Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} want to try 24 G.VI next Monday with the best possible engine mounting and the correct pivot lean.
