ELECTRICAL SILENT STARTER CONTROL.

We send you herewith drawing No.Lec 1622, giving a coloured diagram and explanation of the silent starter control first described by Mr. Royce in his memo. R15/G23820.

This starter system is intended for adoption on our big chassis, and Mr. Royce has already instructed experiments for testing it.

We should be glad if you would circulate coloured diagrams to all the people concerned and let us have for filing purposes either a coloured copy or the original. Without the use of different colours it is very difficult to follow the operation of the starter.

Mr. Royce would like one of these diagrams for Messrs Claremont Haynes & Co. We should be glad therefore if you would let us have 2 copies at the earliest possible moment.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
