CAST IRON BRAKE DRUMS. The cast iron brake drums we have standardised are in Lake and Elliott material. We have really satisfied ourselves that these drums are alright and they are running on Fairey's and one or two other cars so that we have not a great deal of interest in them. What we are interested in however, are the Rolls-Royce cast iron drums with which the Works are hoping to replace them. We shall have a good opportunity of testing these brake drums to detstruction on Brooklands next week. Will you please produce a set of drums for 22-EX as soon as possible.
