Regarding items (6) and (7), coolant jets to ECD.923 (EB.3328) to be fitted. At the present time tests are being carried out to determine the arrangement of water holes in the head and block and will shortly be in a position to inform you of the best layout to go with the coolant jets.

(8) .470 Raised crown Aerolite pistons to be fitted which Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} will supply.

(9) In order to complete the engine, the induction manifold to EXS.1340 should be used together with EXS.1521 air intake bend.

A correct scheme is being designed but it is doubtful whether this will be available in time.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} to supply the 1 3/4 S.U. carbs for the job.

(10) Flexible flywheel to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}571 (Fig.4) to be fitted.

(11) "General" oil filter to be fitted.

(12) Inlet valves only to be fitted with ECD.1022 Neuprene sealing washers.

(13) .030 Klingerit cylinder head gasket which Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} will supply.

(14) R.R. ignition distributor to be fitted, having hand operated control to DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}2300 (DCD.1182) Governor characteristic in accordance with Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}13/MH.{M. Huckerby}22.2.39.

(15) EB.4516 push rods.

(16) Rubbers under the rocker cover nuts to EXS.1529, which Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} will supply. Other parts as existing if in good condition.
