Dear Sir,

No doubt you will remember our visit to you on December 13th, when we demonstrated our cornering lamps to you.
We have now completed what we suggested to you, that is dispensing with the extra headlamps and utilising the existing headlamps for this purpose. Furthermore, by use of this system the fog lamp also may be eliminated, since when a fog light is required the existing near side headlight is dipped to its second or third position, thereby directing the light onto the nearside kerb.

We were in London on Monday last so called on Mr Cohen and demonstrated this to him. He thought it very good and asked us to write to you and make an appointment as he would like you to see it. So would you kindly let us know when it would be convenient for us to come to Derby. Awaiting your reply,

yours truly,

Chas. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Evans
