With further reference to By/CghZ/G.9.4.35, will you please note that we think the push-pull switch to control the offside headlight, suggested in Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}5/KW10.4.35, should be similar to the push-pull switch we stock in London and which we issue to coachbuilders for the control of such accessories as fog lamps, wipers etc. etc. Practically every car has already one or more of these switches fitted and you will, we feel sure, realise the desirability of uniformity in the appearance of such auxiliary switches, so we hope you will agree to make use of the switch we suggest. Its base plate should, we recommend, be engraved with the words "In one" above the knob of the switch and with the words "Out two", below the knob. If you wish, we can arrange for the manufacturers of the switch, from whom we purchase our own supplies, to bring through a switch suitably engraved for you to issue with the Bentley chassis. We shall obtain from them switches similarly engraved for fitting to the Rolls-Royce cars we complete down here. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} | ||
