To BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hm. {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} To Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} +4118 Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} 24/W12.2.25. Chassis No. GRK.51 - Blower. The above owner brought his car here to-day with a complaint of floating Instrument Board. The Instrument Board is entirely isolated from the scuttle, being held by our standard fixtures, that is, Dashboard Brackets, and Steering Column. There is movement on the Instrument Board all the time the car is being driven on the road. The owner being "faddy" objects to this, and the attendant rattles in the instruments etc. We would recommend this is a case where it would be an advantage to attach it to the scuttle. It is an open body. I do not think any booming of the scuttle will result therefrom. If you agree with this suggestion and will let me know, I will communicate with the owner. [Signature] Hm. {Capt.
