Radiator tube dezincification and suggesting water analysis for chassis 72-CL.

Chassis 72-CL. -2- Hl.5/EA6.5.29. water is the cause of the trouble, as this would certainly tend to accelerate local dezincification of the radiator tubes. An analysis of the radiator tubes would be of doubtful value, owing to the local dezincification. We could attempt this, however, if desired. We would also mention that the absence of chlorides indicates that the radiator was washed satisfactorily before leaving the Works. It might also be advantageous to analyse a sample of the water used in the radiator. Hl. | ||
