The bolts holding the crown wheel to the diff: casing, five were found broken. The heads and nuts of the diff: case were found badly damaged and bolts loose. The spider was broken. It was assumed that the locking ring for the crown wheel bolts first broke up, then the bolts became loose five breaking. The broken parts then jammed in the teeth and in the axle casing damaging the diff: bolts and breaking the spider. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
