X 122 To Mr. K.{Mr Kilner} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E.13/HP.16.11.32 c. Sector. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} Front Engine Suspension - Peregrine 2. We have your comments on LeC.3266 for the above, and we now attach a further scheme - LeC. 3279 in which the damping is separated from the torque reaction rubbers, and the rubbers are of the original rectangular pattern. As shown on this design the rubbers can be removed any time without changing the radiator or engine suspension. The damper plates do not call for any special brackets or slots in the crossmember, but are carried by the bolts which fix the radiator suspension brackets. LeC.3279 is not a finished drawing, but we wanted to know if you approved of the principle of the scheme. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
