Tests bench conditions.
SUMMARY OF TEST.
The Mercedes engine has given generally poor results on the test bench.
We have had two inlet valves break and fall into the cylinder - fortunately not much damage was done.
The distribution was very poor.
The carburetter is erratic.
We find that we could, without much difficulty fix the supercharger to a 20 HP. engine on the test bench.
