re. 'D' STEERING - DRIVER'S VIEW. X5430

Doubtless the steering wheel can get in the way under adverse circumstances, but the views of HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and myself are that the trouble is chiefly due to the increased height of the radiator. One has only to move a little to dodge the rim of the wheel, whereas the head has to move a long way to see over the bonnet and radiator.

Owing to this and certain other limitations I have arranged that our 'D' steering shall be raised 1" both seat and wheel, making the round figures of 12" seat and 9" from seat to rim, instead of 11" seat, and 9" from seat to rim. Naturally the new experimental wheel will take some time to get, and will if it passes us, be sent on for Sales inspection, and confirmation or condemnation.
