In your daily report of the 17.6.25. re. 9-G-111.

You mention that at high speeds there is a distinct fan boom. We should like to know whether this still exists and whether you have proved that it is the fan by removing the belt. The reason we are very interested in this is because we are anticipating standardising the type of fan fitted to 9-G-111.

SPARES AT CHATEAUROUX.

We think it should be made clear that one of Croydens duties is to see that the essential spares are available at Chateauroux. For instance, we ought never to have run out of front springs for the 40/50 HP. car. We know perfectly well that front springs are likely to fail and you always ought to have in stock there, front springs. There should be a pair of front springs always kept as spares and as soon as one pair is used you should wire for another to be sent off to replace it. This
