L.H. PHANTOM II.
FRONT & REAR SHOCK DAMPERS SEC:7160/50.
With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/KT.7.2.31, this confirms the instructions sent to Mr.Brock that High Pressure Valves should be drilled in accordance with drawing F.81662.
As regards the Adjusting Washers, BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} has given instructions that these are to remain unaltered as no Adjusting Washers should be under .040" thick. (Handwritten notes: 'this', 'alun.')
To obtain the increased loading Brass Washers should be fitted between the Coil Spring and the Cap and we shall be glad if Mr.Brock will fit these to suit, and let us have particulars so that we can issue drawings for quantities.
Kindly proceed accordingly for all L.H.Drive Chassis.
We attach to Mr.Brock's copy one Print of F.81662 Valve.
