We send you herewith LeC.5254 and a sample of a modified type of air silencer filter element for the above chassis. This element is a modification of the "Pot Scrubber" type of element which has already been instructed for the Bentley silencer with the steel outer shell, and is made by Messrs. Burgess. Will you please prepare a detail drawing of the element and the felts from the sample and the modified dimensions on the LeC. It should be noted that exactly the same parts are to be used for the 25/30 and Bentley silencers. Instructions for an element of similar design for the Phantom III air silencer will follow. E/PSN.
