X. 3702. ------------------------------------------- We have not been able until quite recently, owing to lack of facilities, to undertake magneto testing in our Dept. Hence the magnetos referred to by you, viz: Berling, Splitdorf Eilesmann, have had no more than a preliminary inspection. We are now, however, developing the magneto testing side of our Dept. as quickly as circumstances will allow and reports of the comparative performances of these magnetos will be issued in due course. Within the next few days we hope to issue preliminary reports on the constructions of these machines. In any case, these magnetos are not likely to be of particular interest to us as it is doubtful if they will greatly excel our present standard. This is largely the reason why comparatively little attention has been given to these machines. EPC. | ||
