We wish to carry out compression tests on specimens cut from the rims of the coleron and fabroil timing gears which we hand you herewith. Will you please cut from each gear two specimens in the manner shown on SK.5070 attached. We do not give a sketch in the case of the Fabroil gear as there is a greater thickness available.
