Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

Attention: Mr. F.J. Hardy.

We thank you for the interview granted to our representatives Mr. F.{Mr Friese} A.{Mr Adams} Cook and Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} B. Davies on Thursday last, when the question of Timing Gears machined from "TREFOIL" BAKELITE Sheet was discussed.

In accordance with the arrangement made we propose to send you three sample blanks in each of two grades of material, i.e. our F.294/1 and F.292/3, which we understand you will use for test purposes and you will advise us of the results obtained in due course.

We appreciate that it may be some months before these results are available, but we hope you will keep us in touch with the proposition and give us the opportunity of discussing the matter further with you when these results are available.

Yours faithfully,
For and on behalf of
BAKELITE LIMITED.
