Dear Sirs,

Thank you very much for your letter ref. FWH:NR. of the 4th inst. We now find that Friday September 1st. will be more convenient for our visit, and should be glad to know whether this date will suit you.

While we are at Dagenham, we should particularly like to try a Lincoln 12-cylinder car if there is one available. We should like the car to be up to date as we are contemplating purchasing one if the performance is satisfactory.
