Inspection report detailing damage and wear on various brake system components and needle bearings.

Carrier Plate - Outer. & Mud Excluder damaged on outer edge due to crash.

Brake Shoes. - general condition good. Rivets for Ferodo linings show signs of shearing.

Brake Adjusting Cams. G.83807/8. S/N. - Worn on cam face and metal turning over on edge of cam.

On dismantling the brake gear it was found that the offside foot brake push rod G.82998, was out of position having jumped clear of the seatings in the bellcrank and actuating levers G.82965 and G.82982.

Needle Bearings.

Foot Brake Toggle Act. Shafts. G.83577/8. S/N. Small indents caused by needle rollers.

Hand Brake Toggle Act. Shafts. G.83989/90. S/N. Small indents caused by needle rollers, slightly more pronounced than on Foot Brake shafts.

The components which form the outer races for above needle bearings are only very slightly marked by needle rollers.

Foot Brake Act. Lever. G.82982/3. S/N. Indented and worn on track by needle rollers.

Hand Brake Act. Levers G.82978/9. S/N. Slightly indented on track by needle rollers.

Bearing Housings on Carrier Plate only very slightly marked by needle rollers.

Bell Crank Lever Spindles G.82961. S/N. Signs of wear and small indentations on track, also signs of rust.

Bell Crank Lever Plates. G.83391. S/N. Slightly marked on track by needle rollers, also signs of rust.
