DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} ) FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} (DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} is struck through) HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ) (At Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.) (HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is struck through) C. to Sd. MOR (Struck through) ORIGINAL. SECRET. R1/M117.3.31. Stamp: 8 AVR. 1931 re. RESERVE PETROL AND PETROL SUPPLY ON J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. Handwritten: x5460 If Mr. Sidgreaves wishes the reserve to be controlled from the dash it can easily be done by an extra pipe to the rear tank, but at the cost of money and complication, but since the rear tank is becoming inaccessible perhaps it is the best way. (EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will get this moving, or the control to the present reserve from an accessible point.) Long years ago we made the designs of a petrol pump. If we cannot do anything with it let us buy one for J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. I am beginning to think that with all our costly staff we cannot do anything well or quickly: there can only be one result.
