COPY Montague Place, Kingsdown, Bristol. Your ref. D1/DL. 20th June 1935. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} DeLooze, Esq. c/o Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Mr. DeLooze, Many thanks for your letter dated June 16th. I am sorry for the delay in answering this, but it went to Mr. Halliwell's address and I did not receive it until late yesterday. I am unable to obtain a copy of the death certificate after the funeral, but it is being posted to me tonight and I will forward it to you tomorrow. Re the policy you enquire for, I find there was not one taken out on the house at Littleover. The one in question is a house at Portishead that Mr. Halliwell's father bought, but being too old to be eligible got his son to sign the papers. (He promised he would send you the particulars two days ago.) This will mean it must be taken now as his son's estate and settled up privately afterwards. I quite agree with you that it is much the best to employ a solicitor. The business address above will reach me most quickly. Yours faithfully, C.J. WORCESTER.
