S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} *4038 CWB1/GM/5-2-27. Claudel Hobson dash board petrol gauge. We have been discussing the exact form of the dash board part of this instrument with Messrs. Hobson for the past 10 days and have now been able to give them final instructions as regards making up an exact model. I understand from them that you are dispatching a tank to them very shortly for calibration purposes and propose therefore, to have the final scale of the gauge calibrated with this tank. When this is done we will ask Messrs. Hobson to send the first model gauge to you at Derby so that you may be able to fit it into the actual instrument board. I do not imagine that any official order for this will be necessary, but in order to simplify matters, if this is the case, would you give them what is required. CWB CWB. | ||
