EXPERIMENTAL C.A.V. VOLTAGE REGULATORS.

We recently requistioned from you two C.A.V. regulators to operate at a current of approximately 25 amperes at 13 volts hot. When received these regulators were considerably in excess of this specification and we returned them to you for replacement under cover of our memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.7/MA. 31.1.35. We have only just received these regulators back again and they are still considerably in excess of our original figures specified which were 25 amperes at 13 volts hot.

The figures we have obtained are 35 to 37 amperes at 13 volts on these regulators and you will appreciate this is considerably in excess of our specified figures. We should be glad therefore if you would arrange for the return of these regulators to Messrs.C.A.V. and we should place on record our annoyance at the delay caused by the fact that they are not sending in these parts to our specification.

We are sending the regulators into the stores.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.
