Dear Robotham,

Thanks for your letter which I found on my return from Southport where I was staying with Moore of Turbo-Transmitter Ltd & from whom you will be hearing shortly.

I have been using my 1937, 8ft wheelbase type 329 BMW & it is a glorious little machine. For your purpose, you would need 9ft wheelbase, which my other one type 320 is & I hope you will take that car & study it well. By the way Guy Knowles is not having it, so I hope your people will decide to buy it.

There is no doubt that wherever one goes that car is admired & praised & both Riverlucas & Ernest Siddeley were very impressed. They said that if only R.R. would make a similar car, with their workmanship & detail what an ideal car it would be. 16/17 HP, 85 mph, 26 mpg, under a ton all in, glorious steering, road holding & suspension. Crude gear box, poor brakes.
