Engine No. E.3.BL.

The following work has been carried out to the above chassis at Clan Foundry.

1. Engine dismantled from Frame and stripped.
2. New Conn Rod & Bearing fitted to No.3.
3. All crankshaft oilers removed, oilways thoroughly cleaned out, and engine re-erected.
4. Valve timing re-set as follows :-

I.O. - 7º PTDC E.O. - 36½º BBDC
I.C. - 60½º PBDC E.C. - 5º PTDC

5. Cylinder Head decarbonised and valves ground in.
6. New rocker cover joint fitted.
7. New set of sparking plugs fitted KLG. FLB.30.X.
8. Water Pumps stripped for examination - found O.K.
9. Off-side rear shock damper found knocking - new one fitted.
10. Brakes re-set Near-side front - two notches

11. Oil Pressures check taken as follows :-
