E.A.C. CYLINDERS.

STAINLESS STEEL TUBES.

We find that it is necessary to order a further supply of tubes for E.A.C. Cylinders.

Are you of the opinion that our tests are sufficiently advanced to justify ordering the tubes in Stainless Steel either in the form of bar or drawn tube.

You have already had sets of these tubes made from stainless steel bar whilst we have also handed to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} a small quantity of these parts produced from drawn tube in order to see whether they can be worked satisfactorily.

Perhaps you will inform us as soon as possible whether you consider we should be justified in adopting stainless steel or whether we shall have to continue for the time being with Monel Metal.
