Dear Mr. Ward,

Thanks for your letter of the 2nd. inst.

I appreciate that the August holidays have delayed the work on your steel bodied car. In order to get some value from the chassis point of view out of the test however I have a number of pieces which I want to fit to the car and as I have got to leave on Saturday there will be little time left. I do hope therefore that you will be able to let me have the car early on Thursday and I will arrange for a man to be there first thing.
