This car is leaving for France at mid-day on Saturday. It should arrive in the Works this evening, the 8th inst.

Will you please carry out the following work on the car :-

(1) Fit a bumper bar, to be supplied by HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}
(2) Fit 7 to 1 compression cylinder head, to be supplied by HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}
(3) Fit an alternative petrol filter as provisionally rigged up on Bentley No. 6 by HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/EWG.

Will you please see that the engine is filled with Castrol XXL. oil.
