Said armlets will be supplied to the parties concerned during the checking operations at the Halle aux Toiles.

LICENCES

Art. IO. - Competitors and drivers must be holders of A.C.F. licences or of licences from a club affiliated to the A.I.A.C.R. (Sports Rules of the International Association of Recognised Automobile Clubs, articlesNos 39 and 40 and appendix B).

CRASH HELMET

Art. II. - The wearing of a crash helmet is strongly recommended to drivers.

COMPULSORY DURATION AND DISTANCES

Art. I2. - In order to be placed every car is under the dual obligation of running for 24 hours, plus the time necessary for completing the least lap, as stipulated in article I4, and of covering a given minimum distance during said 24 hours.

Said minimum distance M is calculated as follows :

C being the cylinder capacity in cubic centimêtres, the value of the following expression will be worked out :

M = 3000 x C
C + 440

C is the basic cylinder capacity, that is to say, either the geometrical cylinder capacity as defined elsewhere in the case of an engine not provided with a supercharger, or said geometrical cylinder capacity multiplied by I.65 in the case of an engine fitted with a supercharger.

The indication of the distances to be covered by each competitor will be published and posted up at latest on Monday I3th. June at noon, at the headquarters of the Automobile-Club de l'Ouest.

Any vehicle failing to travel the distanced assigned to it will not be placed.
