REVISED WING STAYS, CROSS MEMBER AND LAMP BRACKETS.
- 20/25 HP. CHASSIS -

With reference to 'N' Scheme 3089, showing the above: we observe that you are asking us to provide a junction box at the front end of the frame, which would receive three wires to enable the car when it reaches the Coachbuilders to be fitted with Double Filament Bulbs in the headlamps or single Filament Bulbs and Centre Lamp, as required in a similar manner to the Phantom ll Chassis.

We would, however, point out that in November last we prepared a scheme on these lines and in March this year we received definite instructions from Sales informing us that Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} thought it better not to standardise this system of lighting as it was found that many customers are not wholly in favour of it, and that the electrically operating Dipping Reflectors appealed to many. Therefore, we are scheming at the front end of the frame to provide concealed wiring for two wires only, i.e. Side Lamps and Head Lamps on similar lines to which we are endeavouring to provide concealed wiring on the Phantom ll.
