DYNAMO ON PEREGRINE CHASSIS With reference to the fault complained of regarding the above, we are sending you attached, curves showing what the output should be without any discharge. We understand that switching on the headlamps does not increase the charge. To test the dynamo output we suggest you pull out the lamp fuses and check the output, firstly summer charge position no lamp switches on, secondly winter charge position no lamp switches on, and thirdly summer and winter charge with side and tail and head, side and tail lamp switches in on position. The complaint suggests that the lamp switches are not shortcircuiting the dynamo field resistances on the distribution board, wiring and the switchbox to distribution board wiring should be checked to the diagram you have. We unfortunately did not have an opportunity to check anything on the car before it went away. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
