~~TO BY~~ FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to ~~B.J.~~ HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}6/M3.9.26. EAC.7. WINGS, VALANCES, ETC. X7390 X7830 Herewith we send N. scheme 2251. shewing a layout of the front and rear wings, valances, runningboards, stepirons, etc. For the first chassis the rear wings will be supplied mounted on the body by the body makers, but the front wings will be supplied by them for mounting in Derby. Subsequently of course the usual arrangement will obtain. Similarly for the first chassis Derby will be expected to make and fit the valances, since it will be impossible to let the coachbuilders have the chassis. We have shewn headlamps fixed, and may subsequent-ly send you further instructions on this point. There are some toolboxes on either side between the rearmost stepirons, which will be shewn on another drawing. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
