| COPY. Y714 4-9-13. Mr. Wormald for Mr. Royce. Herewith is a pencil drawing of a suggested new pivot for the 10 HP 2 cylinder cars. The old pivot E 48/B is shown in red ink for the purpose of comparison. The old pivot runs for a considerable number of years before breaking, and some have never broken yet, I therefore think that the shape and extra section of the suggested new pivot body should make it a safe job. During the past 3 years, 4 or 5 of the old pivots have broken at the point indicated on the drawing, but I do not know of a single case of fracture of the stub-axle.
