20 H.P. COMPLAINTS.

With regard to the above,we have had very few complaints during the last Quarter.We have not a big number of the later type F.W.B. Models in France& there are still quite a few at the Coachbuilders.

STARTER MOTOR FAILURES. G.P.K.15. Occasional slipping due to Bejur Bendix drive.Examined every thing appeared O.K. Uncertain as to the client's suggested trouble,fitted a new starter motor complete as car was eventually -> shipped to America.

STEERING WOBBLES. G.C.K.35. New friction device fitted as per Works instruction sheet No.549. Cross str.tube adjusted.Front S.Abs. set to 35 Lbs. Car tested & found O.K.

G.P.K.15. Work carried out as above withthe same result.

UNCOMFORTABLE SPRINGING. G.C.A.35. Client complaint of rear springs being too strong.Fitted two new 700 Lbs in place of 800 Lbs. Car tested & found O.K.

NOISY TAPPETS. G.P.K.15. Fitted one new roller & pin to tappet to overcome light click.

S.M.F. G.C.K.35. Slipping found to be due to an excessive amount of oil on cork friction washer.New washer fitted same slightly smeared with vaseline. Motion tested & found O.K.
