Complaints of noisy magnetos and the methods used to resolve the issues.

Magnetos Noisy.
Continued.

2.-.122-MC.Complaint as above.Difficulty overcome as above.
3.-.107-HC.Same complaint as 21-MC.Difficulty overcome by the same method.
4.-.34-HC.Complaint noise due to cams cage being slack in end bearing(contact breaker end).In this case it was also impossible to get even contact breaker adjustment.New magneto fitted and original magneto sent to Works.
5.-.22-RC.{R. Childs}Complaint magneto very noisy.New magneto fitted & original magneto sent to Works.
c.-.4-LC.Complaint overcome by fitting 2 new ball races, the original found to be slack.

OBSERVATIONS. In cases when we have repaired magnetos as above we have up to the present had no further trouble with them.We have sent our reports to Works & so far our method has not been criticised by 'Works'.On the later type of magneto where the above weakness has been modified we have up to time of writing had no complaints,.The latest magnetos appears to be definite improvement.
