270 VI. - Bonnet rest strip on dash.

As a result of experience on 32EX car in France it appears that the Kansas Snubber rest strip fitted to that car (and also to the Wraith car built) results in a lot of wear of the bonnet plates.

We therefore wish to change to Ferodo lacing of similar width - a supply of this was handed recently to the shop - will you please fit this type rest strip to the dash of 270 VI. while same is in the shop having undershields fitted.

This does not necessitate any new parts - merely the removal of the present lacing andfitting of the new lacing.
